Artist - A musician, band, singer/songwriter, or other creator of music. This account allows you to sell music and merchandise, create an artist profile, participate in music marketing and contests, and other artist-related services.
Fan - A music fan account allows you to create a fan profile, vote on songs and videos, post fan reviews, and earn site credits you can use to get merchandise and songs for free. Even if you select another account type, you gain all Fan account features.
Manager - You manage a band or a venue. This account allows you to create a venue profile, list events, and post open time slots for bands to apply to.
Press - You write for the music industry, photograph or video shows, or do publicity work for artists. This account allows you to add photo galleries, sell photos, and add reviews.

Artists

Share your music, synchronize your profile and events with other music sites (such as MySpace, Eventful, and Yahoo Music), sell music, concert tickets, swag and merchandise, and more.

Fans can choose to make purchases with HoT Credits, which they can earn for free, instead of pulling out a credit card or entering their PayPal credentials. This allows them to buy your product without having to spend money - you still get paid the same amount, too!
